 The use of methods 
 1, according to the measurement object and scope, select the appropriate length of pipe to protect the paper and the applicable temperature gun. 
 2, the rapid temperature thermocouple mounted on the gun, and make secondary instrument pointer (or digital device) back to zero, then the exposure good, can be measured. 
 3, fast thermocouple into the molten steel to 300-400mm depth is appropriate, measurements do not measure or scum on the furnace wall, so that: fast, stable, accurate, when the secondary instrument to get results, you should immediately put the gun, quickly thermocouple in the molten steel in the immersion time of not more than 5 seconds, or easily burn temperature gun. 
 4, the furnace temperature was raised from the gun, remove the used thermocouples and install new, pause a few minutes, ready for the next measurement. Not even measured even split, or cause temperature fluctuations.
